Dog sitting

So today i am dog sitting for my friends because they dog sat for me when i went skiing in april. Unfortunately while i have a very mellow dog who loves everyone who is nice to him (except for the gardeners he doesn't like them at all) my friends dog is a complete nutcase. She follows me round everywhere which would be totally fine except she seems to hate every member of my family except me and i have to go to work tomorrow which means i have to leave her in the house alone with my family and i'm just worried that she is going to go mental and start barking or biting them which would be horrible. She loves my dog though. Its really cute to see them playing together. I just wish she was a little bit better behaved and didn't hate my family so much.

well that was easy

Once again i am fascinated by how easy it is do to pretty much anything on the internet. I mean take what i just did, signing up for my first blog, for example. I have never done that before i don't even really know what i am doing, this is more like a stream of consciousness than anything else, but it was really really simple and easy and hopefully it will turn out good. We owe nerds and geeks, those poor people that everyone laughed at at school, so much because of everything they have managed to create from their awesome computer skills. I mean take facebook, youtube, video cameras or even the computer i am working on and you will have no idea how it works at all. You may think you are good with computers but you would probably have no idea how to take one apart and put it back together or write a program like facebook. We pride ourselves on being super technologically advanced but the average person wouldn't even know how to put together a lock let alone a computer or a car. Does this make us any better than animals or cavemen then. Sure we have all this technology but we don't really understand how to use it. If you were sent in a time machine back 1000's of years would you be able to turn that society into the one that we enjoy today? Chances are the answer is no. That is why I am continually amazed by technology because  I have no idea how it works and yet somehow it does and i also promise never to take nerds for granted because my nerd friends have helped me with my computer so many times its insane and i know that one day if we need to reset all the technology in the world they would be the ones who would know how to do it.

Hopefully i keep this up because that was fun.:)
